Originally released in 1980. This bootleg unofficial repress of the post-punk classic, Closer, is from 2012 and was pressed on white marble wax, with the origins being potentially from Brazil. There seems to have been a couple of color variants from that time. We picked it up from a Philadelphia record shop back in 2014, as this was Joy Division’s last studio record and we couldn’t pass on this white variant at the time. Unlike the official pressings, this copy contains their single, “Love Will Tear Us Apart.” It’s only been spun once, so the record is like new and the sleeve is in great shape. A solid looking bootleg all in all.
