ELEANOR
Eleanor are an alternative rock and roll duo from Woodhaven, Queens. Since high school, Brendan Morris and Peter Cernauskas have been collaborating for the latter halves of their lives. It's that familiarity that informs the core of the band - a near telepathic interplay of rhythm and melody cultivated over more than a decade of playing music together. From their indefatigable friendship, Eleanor create energetic pop mutations of paranoia, joy, anxiety, and love.
Across their discography of 13 releases, the band started off as a trio with Frankie McCabe on bass for their debut, "JAMBOREE." After that, they went on a string of releases as a duo for the following albums: "SOMEONE ELSE,""Praise, Infinite, Light," and "GARBOLOGY."
They then collaborated with Eric Ong and Gerald Sambets for the EP, "Land in a Rosebush," while playing a string of gigs as a four piece. Shortly after, they returned as a duo to release albums: "Alphabet," "eleanor," "I'M BEAMIN'," and "GEAR IS TRANSITORY."
Presently, they're working on a new project with Kathleen Rivera on a project named, Balustrades.
